While exploring nature, the beauty and wild atmosphere of landscapes easily captivate people, but the values of its diverse wildlife often remain hidden from curious eyes. Many would like to know what the metallic green beetle that crossed the forest path in front of them is, what multitude of plants inhabit the seemingly monotonous saline plain, what bird is chirping in the reed stack, what is rustling in the leaf litter…
Our permanent exhibitions intricately showcase not only the biodiversity and geodiversity of the Carpathian Basin but of the entire Earth. Our mission is for visitors to get to know and love natural values from childhood, so that as adults, they can actively contribute to their preservation
