How to Purchase the Budapest Card

To purchase your Budapest Card, simply follow these steps:

1. Use the booking form on this page to select your preferred start date and choose the card duration that best fits your stay (24, 48, 72, 96, or 120 hours).

2. You can enhance your experience by adding discounted entry tickets to selected attractions, or continue with the Budapest Card only.

3. After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation voucher by email.

4. Exchange your voucher for a physical Budapest Card at your selected pick-up location.

How to Use the Budapest Card?

The Budapest Card makes getting around and discovering the city simple. Here’s how it works:

1. Pick up and activate your card
   After completing your online purchase, collect your Budapest Card at your selected pick-up location by presenting your confirmation email. Cards can be collected at Tourist Information Centers, BKK Customer Service points, or other designated partner locations throughout the city.
2. Activate and start exploring
   Your Budapest Card becomes active the first time you use it at an attraction or on public transportation. From that moment, the card remains valid for 24, 48, 72, 96, or 120 consecutive hours, depending on the option you selected.
